OVERWATCH CONTENDERS EUROPE SEASON 2 STARTS SOON

Overwatch Contenders Europe is heading into its second season of 2018 and we’ve got all the updates you need ahead of its kickoff. New teams have made their way from Open Division into the program via Path to Pro, last season’s top challengers are back, and everyone is aiming to claim the regional title from Season 1 champions British Hurricane—London Spitfire’s Academy Team. Here’s everything you need to know!

NEW AND RETURNING TEAMS

Contenders Trials finished last weekend, and after an intense series of matches for each team, 6nakes (formerly Mosaic Esports) and Bazooka Puppies avoided relegation to the Open Division and will compete in Contenders Season 2. Both teams return to the tournament with refreshed line-ups and will be aiming to showcase their improvements.

Alongside the returning teams are We Have Org (formerly Augmented Authority) and One.Point, who finished second and third respectively in Contenders Trials, to complete their journey from Open Division to the regular season.
